Saturday morning our ship arrived at the beautiful Puerto Chiapas.  While primarily an industrial shipping facility, there is a beautiful terminal for pleasure.   We debarked (fancy word for “got off the boat”) a little after 8am after eating a hearty shipboard breakfast.  We were met outside the terminal by organized, English-speaking, officials who arranged for a van ride to the city of Tapachula.  Once we were at the city square we could hire a taxi for the day on our own.
