This was a fabulous experience! We DID it! We made the coolest friends! But as of today the fathom brand no longer exists, and Former President Trump severed our relationship with Cuba so we can no longer visit. It's truly a shame because we would have been so much better TOGETHER. I will leave the post here for your enjoyment - but it's truly obsolete.

It’s official! Fathom has obtained FINAL approval from the Cuban Government – Beginning May 1, 2016 Americans can Cruise to Cuba!
This week President Obama opened the door – while Arnold Donald, CEO of Carnival Corp., who was heading down to Cuba at the same time as U.S. President Barack Obama, stepped in to obtain final approval for it’s new brand Fathom from the Cuban Government officials! The new “Fathom” brand offers travel access under new regulations that allow person-to-person exchanges, excluding outright tourism. Fathom has coined the term “Impact + Travel” It’s a new kind of cruise that combines your love of travel with your desire to make a difference. The cruise line had previously set out to embark on voluntourism sailings to the Dominican Republic before announcing Cuban cruises.
Fathom will alternate weeks between the Dominican Republic Voluntourism and Cultural Immersion to Cuba Itineraries – using the hashtag #TravelDeep!
