We are SO sorry, but our intended blog post for this weekend did not come to fruition.
The reason – WE ARE BUSY – getting ready to #TravelDeep on our fathom trips.

What we have been doing….. …..finalizing our Architecture work, Accomodating our house sitter, Cleaning the house, PACKING, and….. Learning / Relearning Spanish!!
We are taking an impassioned approach to learning Spanish:
First, so we can practice, and communicate on THIS trip,
and Second, as this is a desirable skill for Fathom Impact Guides – who we plan to become later this year.
We are each using the app duolingo to individually practice 20 mins. a day.
We have hired a WONDERFUL tutor, Silvia Lopez – from Nicaragua. We meet, via Skype, three days a week for personalized instruction and help.
You too can have Silvia as YOUR private tutor. You can hire and contact her via Upwork. Just click her name below:
We are going CRAZY around the house. We have post-it-notes on EVERYTHING – chair, table, plant, light switch, and even the ejecutor el lavavajillas! We have our old Spanish Books. Our New Constructor’s guide to Spanish words – with words like: rebar, nail, bull float, beam, shingle, and more. And, of course, Google Translate.
AND… as open-minded individuals we reached out and found two Youtube Channels hosting Learning Spanish with Subliminal Messages embedded with Biurnal Beats and Isochronic Tones. There is not room or time to go into this topic here, but we would enjoy telling you what we know over our favorite libation…..
Learning Spanish Whilst You Sleep……
Our work for the day: 1) 20mins. duolingo. 2) Flash cards in the hot tub. 3) Go over parts of the body. 4) Work on colors and fruit by making two sentences for each fruit:
La sandia es roja- the watermelon is red. Yo quiero una sandia- I want one watermelon. [easy-image-collage id=4135]
